Current TV / streaming contracts for Live Cricket coverage in the UK

Sky Sports currently hold the majority of live Cricket rights in the UK, with the BBC, BT Sport and Freesports also showing some live coverage. See below for a breakdown of TV contracts by competition and where to watch it live:

County Championship

  • Sky Sports will show selected County Championship cricket on it's dedicated TV channel, Sky Sports Cricket, throughout the domestic season. This deal runs out in 2024.
  • All matches not being shown live on Sky Sports will be available via live stream on ECB Match Centre.

T20 Blast

  • Sky Sports has rights to show selected live, televised matches until 2024.
  • ECB Match Centre will live stream non-televised matches.

The Hundred

  • Sky Sports currently have TV rights to show all 34 men's and 34 women's matches on Sky Sports Cricket / The Hundred TV channels. Some matches are also shown on their free-to-air channel Sky Sports Mix as well as their YouTube channel.
  • The BBC will also broadcast 10 men's and 8 women's games live.

Indian Premier League

  • Sky Sports had exclusive TV rights to the 2021 IPL - negotiations over the 2022 season have yet to be announced.

The Ashes

  • BT Sport currently exclusive the TV rights in the UK and will show all five Ashes tests across it's TV and digital platform until 2025.

International Cricket

  • Sky Sports has exclusive TV rights to show all England Men's home test match cricket until 2024. The BBC will show daily highlights.
  • Sky Sports also has rights to broadcast all England Men's ODI and T20 internationals until 2024. The BBC can show selected match highlights.
  • Sky Sports have an exclusive TV contract to show all England Women's Cricket games until 2024. The BBC will show selected Women's highlights.

Overseas International Cricket

  • Sky Sports can show live coverage of Test Match Cricket, ODI and T20 internationals from India (deal until 2022), Pakistan and South Africa (until 2024).
  • BT Sport currently has TV broadcast rights to show live coverage of all Tests (including The Ashes), T20I's and ODI's from New Zealand (until 2022), West Indies and Australia (both run until 2026).
  • Freesports have TV rights to cover live International Cricket from Zimbabwe and Afghanistan until 2023.

World Cup Cricket

  • Sky Sports have exclusive rights to broadcast live coverage of all aspects of World Cup Cricket on TV, including:
    • ICC Cricket World Cup (until 2023)
    • ICC Women's World Cup (until 2021)
    • ICC Men's T20 World Cup (until 2021)
    • ICC Women's T20 World Cup (until 2022)
    • ICC Under-19 World Cup (until 2022)

Other Overseas Domestic Cricket

  • Big Bash League - live on Sky Sports TV until 2022.
  • Women's Big Bash League - live on Sky Sports TV for 2021.
  • Pakistan Super League - live on Sky Sports until 2024.
  • Lanka Premier League - live on Sky Sports for 2022.
  • NZ Super Smash - live on BT Sport until 2022.
  • Women's Super Smash - live on BT Sport YouTube until 2022.
  • Caribbean Premier League - live on BT Sport until 2021.
  • Canada Global T20 - currently live on FreeSports.
  • Abu Dhabi T10 - shared coverage on Sky Sports Cricket and Freesports for 2021.
  • European Cricket League (T10) - live coverage on Freesports for 2021.

Cricket Highlights & Live streams

  • The BBC currently have TV broadcast rights to show highlights of all ICC international cricket and England home test matches.
  • Selected live streams are shown of County Championship Cricket on club websites throughout the domestic season.
