The Ultimate Guide to Live Boxing on TV

Boxing is unique among major sports; there is no fixed season, and fight nights can pop up on any day of the week, in any time zone. For fans, keeping track of who is fighting, where it’s happening, and, most importantly, how to watch it, can be a full-time job. That is where we come in.

The landscape of Boxing on TV has evolved significantly in recent years. We have moved from a world dominated by traditional cable channels to a mix of satellite broadcasters, dedicated streaming apps, and Pay-Per-View platforms. With major promoters often signing exclusive deals with different broadcasters, following your favourite fighter often means switching between apps like DAZN, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports. Our goal is to cut through the noise. We monitor every major organisation and broadcaster to curate a definitive Boxing Schedule that is accurate and easy to use.

Live Boxing Broadcast Rights in the UK

Keeping track of which channel is showing the big fight can be a challenge. In the UK, boxing coverage is fragmented across several major broadcasters and streaming platforms, with broadcast rights often tied to specific promotional stables rather than individual fighters. This means that to know the channel, you usually need to know the promoter. To help you navigate the landscape, we have broken down the current major broadcast partnerships and platform holders below:

DAZN: The streaming giant is now arguably the undisputed "Home of Boxing" in the UK, holding the rights to the two biggest promotional stables in the country.

  • Queensberry Promotions: In the biggest move of the year, Frank Warren’s stable officially moved to DAZN in April 2025. This makes DAZN the exclusive home for heavyweights like Daniel Dubois, Moses Itauma, and Tyson Fury (for non-Riyadh Season exclusive bouts).
  • Matchroom Boxing: DAZN continues its long-term partnership with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing (running until 2026), delivering a consistent schedule of domestic and global fight nights.
  • Global Partners: DAZN also retains rights for Misfits Boxing (KSI) and Golden Boy Promotions, meaning the vast majority of major UK and US cards now sit under one app.

SKY SPORTS: Following the conclusion of their exclusive domestic deal with BOXXER in June 2025, Sky have shifted their strategy toward major international and Pay-Per-View events.

  • Top Rank: Sky remains the UK home for Top Rank events from the USA. This is the place to watch stars like Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson, with broadcasts usually airing in the early hours of Sunday morning.
  • Sky Sports Box Office: Sky continues to be a major player for ‘mega-event’ Pay-Per-Views, often picking up simulcast rights for massive international cards or independent blockbuster fights.

TNT SPORTS:

  • Since the departure of Queensberry Promotions earlier in 2025, TNT Sports has scaled back its regular domestic boxing output. However, they remain a key destination for combat sports fans as the exclusive home of the UFC and often secure rights to one-off international cards or simulcasts of major Saudi Arabian events.

AMAZON PRIME VIDEO:

  • PBC (Premier Boxing Champions): Prime Video continues to broadcast Premier Boxing Champions events. While less frequent than the domestic schedules, these cards provide access to elite US fighters like Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, often available as one-off PPV purchases for UK customers.

CHANNEL 5:

  • Wasserman Boxing: Channel 5 continues to fly the flag for free-to-air boxing, broadcasting cards from the Wasserman stable.

What Time is The Boxing Tonight?

Start times vary significantly depending on the location of the event. Now that so many major fights take place in Saudi Arabia or the USA, ‘fight night’ isn't always Saturday night. Domestic cards on DAZN typically see ring walks around 10:30pm UK time. However, US cards from Las Vegas (shown on Prime Video or Sky Sports) often require an early start, with main events hitting the ring at 4am or 5am on Sunday mornings. For confirmed ring walk times, including any last-minute delays, always check the Boxing Schedule at WheresTheMatch.

What Channel is the Boxing on Tonight?

The channel lists have changed significantly this year. As of late 2025, DAZN is the primary subscription you need for the vast majority of weekly British boxing (covering both Matchroom and Queensberry). However, Sky Sports still holds the rights to Top Rank's US shows, and Amazon Prime broadcasts massive PBC cards. Occasionally, a mega-fight may be broadcast across multiple platforms via PPV.
