Streameast

What actually happened to Streameast

Streameast wasn't just another illegal streaming site - at its peak it was pulling in over 1.6 billion visits a year, making it the biggest operation of its kind anywhere in the world. That ended in September 2025, when Egyptian police teamed up with the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment to raid its operators, seize more than 80 domains, and make arrests. It covered NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League, Champions League, boxing, MMA and more - basically everything sports fans were after, all in one place, all without a license.

Every site using the Streameast name today is a copycat with no connection to the original. Several have been flagged for malware and phishing attempts, and there's no verified safe version still running.

Is it safe to use a Streameast clone?

No. Copycats cashing in on a dead brand's name have every incentive to squeeze out ad revenue or harvest data fast, since they know they could be shut down too. That's a genuinely worse risk profile than the original site ever had.

Is watching Streameast illegal?

It was, and using one of the clones now carries the same risk - streaming copyrighted sport without a license breaks the law, and rights holders take it seriously.

What's the legal way to watch instead?

Skip the clones entirely. If you're in the United States, the schedule above already covers NFL, NBA, MLB and more through Fox Sports, NBC, ESPN and beIN Sports. In the UK, Sky Sports and TNT Sports handle most NFL and NBA coverage, with DAZN picking up the rest.
