Sky Sports extends Cricket rights until 2019

Sky Sports’ partnership with English Cricket has extended until 2019, committing itself as the leading channel for Cricket on TV in the UK.

The sports broadcaster agreed the deal with the ECB, which will include live coverage of all England home matches, county cricket and women’s cricket – this will make Sky the home of cricket to 14 years.

The previous deal Sky had for exclusive rights was worth £280 million, which covered 2013-2017, with the option to extend until 2019 which has bow been taken.
